he’s comfortable

went to see my sayang in the afternoon.

alhamdullilah there were colour to his cheeks, and he looks so much more comfortable in comparison to the last 2 days or so. there are no more blood transfers but they did have to do a blood test.

his heartrate was pretty stable, and his O2 level was above 80%. the good news was that his breathing wasn’t as rapid as the last two days, however that was because the nurse had to up the assisted O2 level from 21% (which is normal room O2 level) to 25%, which is still pretty reasonable. at least its keeping him comfortable which is the most important thing. however the nurse will adjust as per necessary and i’m just praying that he’ll be able to go back on 21% O2 level and do fine.

in anycase, its the weekend, so there’s normally not much that will be done unless absolutely necessary. i’m just looking forward to visiting him tomorrow afternoon.

he’s already 17 days old and i’m just grateful thus far he’s still doing so strong. as much as we are not looking forward to surgery, if it has to be done, then we’d rather he be as strong as he can get before the surgery, let it be over and done with, and let him heal as best as possible…

due to his condition, we know that we can lose him at anytime should God want to take him back… but, should he show the perserverence to fight to his best ability, then we can only do our best to be there for him as much as we can…

and this lil fighter is fighting now. and it just amazes azhar and me every single day when we see him, to see how much he is persevering through all this as well as the patience that he has throughout the last 17 days.

its true when they say that you don’t really teach a child… most times they are the ones who teach you things; things that you may have forgotten or ignored.
